Wood Stove Kitchen
2 bottles of red wine, ideally Cabernet, Merlot, or Malbec
1 bottle of Wood Stove Mulling Syrup
Thin orange slices, cinnamon sticks, or fresh cranberries for garnish
Combine the wine and Wood Stove Mulling Syrup in a pot on the stove or in a microwave-safe bowl.
Heat on the stove or in the microwave until warm and lightly steaming but NOT boiling; only boil if you want to remove the alcohol from the wine.
For an added kick, add brandy, rum, or vodka to taste.
Ladle into mugs and consider garnishing with thin orange slices, cinnamon sticks, or fresh cranberries.
Tip: You can also mix the wine and Mulling Syrup in mugs ahead of time and then microwave the filled mugs.
