Wine Cranberry Sauce
Wood Stove Kitchen
24 ounces (2 bags) of cranberries
16 fl ounces (1 bottle) of Wood Stove Mulling Syrup
2 cups of red wine
2 cups of sugar
Combine all of the ingredients in a pan on the stove. Stir thoroughly.
Heat the cranberry mixture on high until it begins boiling.
Reduce the heat to medium or medium-high, and simmer uncovered for 20 mins until the liquid has mostly boiled off and the cranberries have “popped”.
Transfer to a bowl, and chill in the refrigerator or freezer.
Tip: For an added flare, squeeze the juice of half a lime over the sauce before serving. microwave the filled mugs.
